The term environment refers to forces that, although external to the organization, can affect its productivity and performance in general. This organizational environment can be divided into five dimensions: legal, technological, socio-cultural, macroeconomic and environmental. It is important to emphasize the interdependence between the organization and these environments, as the organization also shapes and describes the environment around it. The coexistence of organizations with federal, state, and local laws in their environment is essential, and therefore it is difficult for companies to operate outside the law in the long term. They affect several operating conditions of enterprises; Impact on everything from processes, products to the treatment, remuneration and working conditions of the people who are inserted in them, in addition to setting limits and defining parameters for the proper functioning of organizations. Laws have a direct impact on organizations as they are set by governments to prevent business activities that may be considered unethical, these regulations are in turn influenced by public policy, government agencies and interest groups. Laws affecting the trading system can affect trade, professions and organizations.
[3]. Knowledge of the legal environment of the activities of civil society organizations is fundamental to promoting the culture of giving in Brazil. Historically, the leading role of civil society organizations (CSOs) in the struggle for human rights in the country has not seen corresponding progress in the mechanisms for the sustainability of their performance. As a result, they are exposed to threats stemming from legal uncertainty and fragile funding mechanisms. Tax treatment, tax incentives, access to the banking system and other issues are essential for receiving donations to civil society organizations. In addition, in recent years, there has been an increasing restriction of the participation of civil society organizations in the civil society space, which involves encouraging the criminalization of organizations, including thinking about the issues of reliability and expansion of donations, not to mention the risks to human rights actions and activism.
